I know it’s been a while. Well more like about 2 months, but I’m here now!
The lack of post is due to school. School is taking over my life. For the past couple of months I’ve been trying to figure out what college I’m to attend I the fall and its been a bit stressful. It’s not quite over yet, but I’m getting through it. Hope you enjoy the post. Oh, I also created my tumblr, so check it out and feel free to follow. http://pineappleandtulle.tumblr.com/

I had an amazing opportunity to attend A Life in Fashion at Lincoln Center. While there I was able to hear a great panelist talk about their experience in the fashion industry, about their careers, how they started and how can young designer, artist and anyone who wants to get involved in fashion reach their goals. I learned so many things today and it was a great experience, that I will always remember. The panelist were: Lobov Azria, Lori Goldstein, Patrick Robinson and Terron E. Schaefer.

There are 5 stools and only 4 panelists…one day Ill be there, you can count on that!

I know I haven’t posted an outfit blog in a while and I’m sorry about that. I was waiting until I received my camera, but that’s taking way too long, so for now I’m still stuck with my phone camera.
I’m so ready for spring…even summer (I can’t the heat), but it’s better than weekly snowstorms. For some reason New York City has been getting snowstorms like almost every week now and truthfully I’m sick of it. We get no white Christmas…but then we get weekly snowstorms. I truthfully can’t wait till the spring…one of my favorite seasons!!!

So these are pictures, of part of Brooklyn, NY that I never knew. All these years I’ve been living in NYC (my whole life), I never saw this part. I know this isn’t fashion related, but once I got on the boardwalk, I saw this amazing view, so I decided to take pictures of it! It just inspired me and at that point all I wanted to do was sketch, but I didn’t have my sketchpad, so I couldn’t do it. Well this inspired me and I thought I’d share it with you. One of my goals for 2011 is to get to know my city better and I’m glad its happening! Hope you’re achieving your goals!
