I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Urban Zen conference yesterday. Urban Zen is a foundation created by Donna Karen to raise awareness for education of children and teenagers. Not only is Urban Zen about education, but it’s also about helping children and teens through out America find peace with themselves to not be so stressed. While I was there with my leadership group (Community of Unity) I felt really happy that some I look up to as a role model in the fashion industry, isn’t only about fashion, but that she really cares about the education of our future! She said, “My dream is coming true”.
